Key Features

Native PET/CT Fusion

Interactive PET/CT overlay with adjustable fusion opacity and multiple PET colormaps. Scroll through fused slices — not static screenshots.

SUV Quantification

Real-time SUV measurement at any point in the volume. Quantify metabolic uptake directly in the viewer without a dedicated workstation.

Maximum Intensity Projection

Whole-body MIP projections for rapid lesion localization and staging overview, rendered natively in the browser.

No Workstation Required

Runs in any modern web browser. No PACS plugins, no specialized hardware, no software installation.

The Problem with PET in Standard PACS

Most PACS systems were designed for conventional radiology — CT, MRI, X-ray. When PET/CT studies are archived and viewed in these systems, the PET data is often rendered as a static secondary capture image: a screenshot of what the PET looked like on the acquisition console. Clinicians cannot adjust the colormap, measure SUV uptake values, scroll through fused PET/CT slices, or generate MIP projections. The diagnostic value of the PET data is significantly reduced.

How Acurix Solves This

Acurix renders PET and CT volumes as fully interactive overlays using the OHIF web-based DICOM viewer. PET data is displayed with adjustable colormaps (Hot Iron, Rainbow, PET 20-step, and more), fusion opacity control, and real-time SUV quantification at any voxel. Maximum Intensity Projections provide the familiar whole-body staging view that nuclear medicine physicians rely on — all from a standard web browser.

Who Benefits

Any practice that archives PET/CT studies to a general-purpose PACS and needs to review them outside the acquisition console. Referring physicians, tumor boards, and multi-disciplinary teams can view fully interactive PET/CT data without dedicated nuclear medicine workstations.
